Assigning a Parent to the Parent Module.
Part of the system Administration is to add the parents of the students to the system. The Parents are linked to their children in each school’s application. This release outlines the steps which are taken to link the parent and the child. In the application a parent is considered, a father or mother, or guardian or steward approved by the parents and the Ministry of Education to have access to the Student records provided in the Web browser. These include, the Term Reports, Attendance, Conduct, Activities, Book List, Events, and Bulletins.
Parent Module
The Administrator’s updates allow the parent to access the child’s information in the abusSTAR Parent Module. If the parent forgets their password a new password is automatically issued on demand. The application facilitates improved communication between teacher, school and parent about the child’s performance indicators.
