Welcome to the abusSTAR Parent Module, a new online tool that allows parents to be completely involved in the education of their children. In this document, you will find information which describes the different components of the Parent Module and step-by-step instructions on using the program effectively.
What is the abusSTAR Parent Module?
The abusSTAR Parent Module provides the parent and guardian of the student access to reports about the child’s grades, conduct, attendance, and extracurricular activities. In addition:
• Review the list of books your child will need for the academic year.
• Order your child’s school supplies online.
• Read bulletins about the school policies, notices, publications and periodicals.
• Review and print correspondence from your child’s teachers and principal.
The parent must be registered and approved by the school. The parent may also grant other relatives online access to the child’s records by also registering them with the school. Each person requires valid email address to register.
